🔧 Self-Healing Test Cases: Boost Your Test Automation! 🔧

Welcome to our latest video on one of the most exciting features in Tosca 2024.2: Self-Healing Mode! This powerful feature ensures your TestCases continue to run smoothly, even if controls in your system under test change. Say goodbye to manual effort and hello to more stable test runs!

✨ Key Features:

Automatic Self-Healing: Tosca finds similar controls if the original control changes, ensuring uninterrupted test execution.

Reduced Manual Effort: Automatically identifies and adapts to changed controls, saving you time and effort.

Stable Test Runs: Enhances the stability of your test automation process.

How to Enable Self-Healing Mode:

Create a Test Configuration Parameter (TCP): Name it SelfHealing and choose one of the following values:
Weighted: Uses a weighting algorithm to find the most unique control.
Combination: Creates all possible combinations of self-healing properties.
False: Disables Self-Healing Mode.

Set Weight Threshold: Optionally, create a TCP called SelfHealingWeightThreshold to specify the threshold for the weight.

Using Self-Healing Mode:
Create a New TestCase: Include the ModuleAttribute with self-healing properties.
Enable Self-Healing Mode: Apply it to your TestCase.
Create an ExecutionList: Run your TestCase.
Review Self-Healed TestCases: Look for the self-healing icon in the ExecutionEntries and check the ExecutionLog for details.

Pro Tip: Apply self-healing changes to the Module by right-clicking the ExecutionLog and selecting "Apply Self-Healing properties."
