Baby Romper Cutting and Stitching | DIY 2 In 1 Baby Dress Cutting and Stitching

Hey, DIY enthusiasts! In today’s video, I’ll be showing you how to create an adorable 2-in-1 baby romper dress from scratch. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro, this step-by-step tutorial will guide you through the process with ease. So, grab your fabric, scissors, and sewing machine, and let’s get started!

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

• Fabric of your choice
• Measuring tape
• Scissors
• Pins
• Sewing machine
• Elastic

Step 2: Taking Measurements

• Measure the baby’s chest, waist, and length from shoulder to thigh.
• Add seam allowances to your measurements for cutting.

Step 3: Cutting the Fabric

• Using the measurements, cut the fabric pieces for the bodice, skirt, and straps.
• Make sure to cut mirror images for the front and back pieces.

Step 4: Sewing the Bodice

• Pin and sew the front and back bodice pieces together at the shoulder seams.
• Hem the neckline and armholes.

Step 5: Attaching the Skirt

• Gather the top edge of the skirt piece.
• Pin and sew the gathered edge to the bottom of the bodice, right sides together.
