Robotic Duct Cleaning inside Railway Coach – T&T Solutions and Services Pvt. Ltd.

Carrying 10 Lakh passengers every day, be it summer heat, winter breeze or Rainy days, Local Trains face the extreme conditions everyday only to provide best possible service to its passengers. Since the structure of the local trains is made in such a way to provide maximum ventilation to the passengers, the ventilation system of the trains gets chocked up as it attracts a lot of dust and debris. The AHU ducts inside the Siemens Coach is integrated in the system to provide extra ventilation. This duct is very crucial in the summer days to keep the air fresh and maintain the Indoor Air Quality inside the duct. We are proud to be a part of the Railway team that cleans the air duct system of the local trains. Highly advanced robots and machinery is used in the cleaning of AHU ducts. Robot not only inspects the ducts, but also helps in cleaning the ducts with a brushing attachment. Robot along with Compressed air is inserted inside the duct from one end, and on the other end we attach a vacuum system that vacuums all the dust that is agitated by the robot and the compressed air as you can see in the video. By doing this activity, we along with railways help the passengers’ breathe clean and fresh air on daily basis.
