This swedish Äggost recipe, translated; "Egg Cheese", is a very classical dessert from Bohuslän. I grew up on the islands outside of Gothenburg and this is my favourite dessert from there. My version is the; "Äggost med Hjortronsylt", Egg Cheese with Cloudberry jam. Cloudberry is not the classical condiment but it's the way I have always eaten it. If you are a cheesecake lover than this dish is definitely for you!
