hey guys... so today I decided to upload a video very different from normal. Today is my 3 year anniversary since my spinal fusion surgery. I was diagnosed with scoliosis in 6th grade. My active lifestyle soon came to a halt. I was scared, alone and honestly felt bad for myself most of the time. To help me get through and understand more about my surgery, I watched videos, met with my doctors and nurses and spoke with others who had struggled with the same diagnosis. This is why I decided today that I wanted to make a video about my experience that could possibly help others that are in the same boat as I was. The more I learned about how the surgery would change my life, the better I felt. If it were not for the nurses on staff at Children's Health Care of Atlanta, I would not have recovered to the point of being able to have a normal and active life that I have today.
