OUR MOST CHALLENGING HORSE RESCUE: Nala needed a miracle.

In this video, we share Nala's journey with us – from her struggles with lordosis and an old pelvic fracture, to her gradual health decline. Despite her physical challenges, Nala lived her life with resilience, always taking her time to participate in activities her own way. With the help of a dedicated team and extra walks to keep her fit, she remained as healthy as possible.

However, as time passed, Nala's condition worsened. She struggled to stand after lying on her bad side, and her health issues became more complex. At one point, we even explored the possibility that she might be pregnant due to certain signs, but after thorough examinations, it became clear that this wasn't the case.

As her need for medical intervention increased, it became evident that there was little more we could do to restore her comfort and independence.
We worked closely with our vets, exploring every possible treatment, but her condition continued to deteriorate. Her once vibrant spirit faded as her body became weaker, and she developed sores from lying down for extended periods.

After many consultations and attempts to improve her quality of life, we made the difficult decision to let her go peacefully, surrounded by the people who loved her most. This is Nala's story – a tribute to a brave and beautiful horse.
