On October 4, 2023, a social worker called police because one of her 18-year-old clients would not get out of her state owned vehicle. Police requested the woman to get out of the vehicle, but because she had nowhere to go, she refused. She was forcibly removed, placed in "The Wrap" restraint system, taken to the hospital for medical clearance, and eventually transported to jail. Online court records show she was charged with Resisting Arrest, Battery on a Peace Officer, and Concealing Identity. On November 13, 2023, all of the charges were dismissed by the prosecutor.
