There have been a few new openings from Japanese Hotel Brands in Bangkok recently. Last year, well known chain Sotetsu opening its first hotel in Thailand, at Sukhumvit Soi 25.
But what is different about Japanese hotels? Is the design as trendy as they say? Are the hospitality levels really so good? And what about the facilities available?
And even if they are the best, what's the experience for Western travellers like bearing in mind the price-point offered?
