Hi All,
we plan to go haridwar for Janma Shatabdi Aradhana Mahotsav Of HH Srimad Sudhindra Thritha Swamiji which was held at Vyasa Ashram, Haridwar.
we were with group of 27 people and we boarded 12951 Rajdhani express from mumbai to delhi and from delhi to haridwar we boarded 19565 okha ddn exp train.
we already booked mumbai to haridwar train ticket well inn advance .

****About Vyas Ashram***

Vyas Ashram is a branch of Kashi Math Samsthan, working on welfare activities and spreading Vedic knowledge. There is a Vyas Temple (Mandir) on the premises, which is the main attraction of the ashram. Vyas Mandir is dedicated to Maharshi Veda Vyas along with his son, Shuka. There are idols of Brahma, Vishnu, and Maheshwara along with big idols of Saptarishis.
Vyas Mandir was consecrated on the banks of river Ganga by HH Sri Sudhindra Theertha Swamiji, in 1986, who was the mathadhipathi of Kashi Math Samsthan at that time. Kashi Math Samsthan follows Vaishnava tradition and philosophy and is managed by Gaud Saraswat Brahmins.
The presiding deities of the temple are Lord Veda Vyasa, Lord Raghupati (Rama), and Lord Narasimha (Incarnation of Vishnu), which is known as Sri Vyasa Raghupathi Narasimha. There will be the worship of deities three times a day - morning, noon, and night. There will also be an evening Ganga Aarti performed.
Temple is a beautiful and divine place of worship. The temple building is in the shape of an octagon (ashtakon). The temple with gopuram resembles South Indian architecture. There is another shrine dedicated to Nava Grahas within the temple complex. The Vyas Ashram is surrounded by beautiful gardens and trees and also river Ganga. The environment within the complex is very calm and serene, which is away from the bustling crowd. All the flowers and fruits required for the pooja and rituals are grown in their own garden. There is also an old Rudraksha tree within the ashram complex. There is a samadhi place (Vrindavan) of Guru Sudhindra Thirtha Swamiji within the premises.
Vyas Ashram is located in Haripur Marg of Motichur on Haridwar-Rishikesh road. The ashram is at a distance of 6 km from the railway/bus station. One has to hire a taxi or auto rickshaw from the station. The nearest airport is Jolly Grant airport, which is 35 km away from the temple.
Vyas Ashram is surrounded by many temples and ashrams. You can plan Vyas Ashram along with Vaishno Devi Temple, Bharat Mata Mandir, Shantikunj, Saptrishi Ashram, and Geeta Kutir, which are located in one area.
