Welcome to Hillside Memorial Park in Los Angeles, California. This cemetery is one of the most star studded cemeteries in California along with Hollywood Forever Cemetery and Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills. This is our first trip to Hillside Memorial Park to visit several famous graves, but today we are focusing on the largest memorial at the park, that of Al Jolson. Al Jolson was one of the highest paid and most famous performers of the 1920's and this monument is fitting for a star of his calibur at that time. Join me today, as we pay our respects to the star of Jazz Singer and many other films and visit the grave of Al Jolson.
