Saturday the 7th December, running the Barnsley parkrun
254th parkrun and 3rd at Locke Park
3rd time here, very similar conditions to the first, but dried up toward the end.
Started off steadily, as I didn't want to burn out on the hills on the first lap, still struggled later on, legs feeling heavy and not wanting to push me onwards. got to the finish line, 2 seconds off my course pb, was hoping to get sub 21 here, but wasn't able to quite do it this time.
Official finishing time of 21:10
11th placed finisher out of 152 and 1st in the 45-49 age group
My PB remains at Clumber Park parkrun 19:28 ( • Clumber Park, parkrun 21/09/19 2nd finishe... )
My fastest time this year 19:41 ( • Clumber Park, parkrun number #165 on 4/03/23 )
