In this episode, we remove a lightning-struck maple tree with two massive primary leads growing close to live electrical lines. With both primary and data lines surrounding the work zone, this removal required precision, planning, and plenty of rigging.
We climb using the Rock Exotica Akimbo 2 and Echo 2511T, mindfully working around live utilities while keeping control of each piece using the Good Rigging Control System (GRCS).
Watch as we navigate tight clearances, live primaries, and the unpredictable structure of a lightning-damaged maple — all while trying to keep it safe, smooth, and efficient!
