Restoring Scrap: Utility Trailer Edition Part 5 -Transforming the Trailer Frame! Prep, Prime & Paint

Part 5 of my Utility Trailer Restoration is here—and the transformation really kicks in!
In this episode, I tackle one of the most satisfying stages of any rebuild: surface prep and paint. I start by removing the remaining rust and debris using a wire-brush drill attachment, getting the metal clean and ready for coating. Then it’s time to prime the entire trailer frame with spray-on primer, followed by fresh coats of spray paint to seal and protect the steel.

The difference between before and after is huge, and the trailer finally starts to look like something that’s ready to get to work again.
