» Bileygr from Italy is our featured guest for this special project.

First and foremost, I want to dedicate this project to my dear high school friend, Cynthia, who passed away on 22.12.2021. She was the one who introduced me to the world of J-Rock, and I owe her so much for that. Her influence changed the course of my musical journey, and I hold deep respect for her memory.
Rest in peace, Cynthia.

For this project, we covered a Japanese song. I have already recorded the instrumental for this cover back in 2020, but at the time, I couldn’t find anyone to dothe vocals—until now. Me and Cynthia used to talked about this project back then. I asked her if she could find a Malagasy J-Rock vocalist to do the vocal for the cover, but unfortunately we never found one.

“Last Heaven” is one of my favorite songs by the Japanese band the GazettE, taken from their 2013 album Beautiful Deformity.

Back then also, I searched on the internet sheet music to learn this song because I want to paly it like the Band play it on the original recording. There’s usually a lot of material available when it comes to international music, and luckily, I found a Guitar Pro_version of the arrangement, which made learning the song much easier.

As with all our collaborators, Tommy is a highly respected guest on our YouTube channel. A fellow J-Rock enthusiast, he brought not only his amazing voice to this project but also his dedication and energy. I’m truly grateful he accepted the invitation to collaborate with us and share his artistry with our community.

Together, the two of us worked hard to bring this cover to life—Tommy even handled the video editing himself.
