We can also for the very first time, look at the face of his Queen Eleanor of Provence, a French woman renowned for her beauty and, complete devotion to her husband.

Also the re-worked model of his son Edward I, Longshanks a highly capable king who defeated Simon de Monfort at the Battle of Evesham in 1265, and also known as the "Hammer of the Scots' because of his attacks against Scotland. Yet Edward was temperamental, and this, along with his height, made him a very intimidating man, who instilled fear in his contemporaries.
