Dungeon Defenders - Crystalline Dimension Nightmare Campaign

This video is made for myself to relive the moment of victory!

When I first started playing DD in 2013, I played through all of these maps. If I am honest with myself, I was carried through Crystalline Dimension multiple times so that I could unlock the Monk and Squire Super Legendary skins. Once those were unlocked, I never played the map again. Fast forward to 2023. I was looking for a goal to break up the hours and hours of armor farming. Well, one of my goals was to start working towards being able to play the Tavern Incursion map, and for that, I need to learn how to play assault maps and how to battle the Old One. So I set out to practice battling the Old One, and during that practice, I said to myself, "Why not unlock the Super Legendary skin for Apprentice while you learn?"

I played the Old One Practice mod for about 6 hours. I told myself, "Beat him at least 3 times in a row before attempting CD." I did just that and then hopped into CD. I made it through all of the areas and then ventured to battle the Old One. I died in the first 10 seconds! 29 minutes of building 4 different areas and going through all of the waves and the boss gauntlet, and it was all over in 10 seconds. I was so frustrated. I tried again and failed during the Chest Stage of the first round. ARGH. Another lost 30 minutes. I played through CD one more time and made it all the way to the Head Stage of the last round and got knocked off with only 10 million HP left! I was beside myself. I played through again and died again. This was getting ridiculous. I decided to sleep on it and try it again the next day. Success! This video is a recording of that run.

I tried using Rainy©'s build for the 4th area, and I just never could get it to work the way I wanted to. I just did my own thing for the Boss Gauntlet.
