When installing headers on a car, spark plug boots are always a good idea especially on the ls and lt motors because of how the plug sits a little lower than the header causing the wires to have to pass through them being subject to extreme heat. i hope this helps you with your do it yourself spark plug boot project, These one's are made by performance world.
