This double-hull model craft is able to sail straight against the wind. It is sailing because the turbine acts as a sail catching the wind to power the propeller in the water. The rotation of the turbine blades and axel are transmitted via the string-and-pulley system to the propeller axel which pulls the boat forward against the wind by the bow. The direction of the boat is maintained by the vertical wind vane in the stern of the boat.
