Hello everyone!
In todays video we work on the new to me jointer! Picked up this Delta DJ20 8 Inch jointer for a great price, just needed a little TLC.
We disassemble as much as we can and give it a good cleaning. Plus replacing the bearings in the cutterhead and the big task, removing all the rust on the beds.
I use WD40 as the lubricant and then start with 220 grit on the orbital sander followed by 400 on the sheet sander. Using mineral spirits to clean the surface after and finishing with paste wax from Minwax.
