Don't think I've ever uploaded a video showing much of this route before so this time I decided to film it with some detail!
Due to a set swap earlier in the day this working was a 9 car IET vice a 5 car on this day, Wednesday 12th January 2022. Departing Cheltenham at 16:59 before arriving into Gloucester to turn around. Before long we set off for the Golden Valley Line and it's amazing at night, before we join the GWML at Swindon. Hitting our top speed of 125 mph between Swindow & London, arriving into London about 10 minutes late due to being held at Kemble. The set departed out of London bound for Worcester via Cheltenham.
Calling Points: Gloucester, Stonehouse, Stroud, Kemble, Swindon, Didcot Parkway, Reading & London Paddington a wonderful route so enjoy the trip report video.
