Cheenu and Shalu tease Vidya about the glow on her face and how happy Sagar has made her feel. Sagar makes an excuse to Vidya at night and goes to his study. He berates himself for committing such a big mistake. The next morning, Sindoora gives Vidya the tickets to leave. She tells Vidya she's aware of the truth that Sagar had taken her away only so that he could tell her he wants to end the relationship. Vidya is stunned and devastated! Vidya confronts Sagar, so he replies that it is impossible for them to live together because two lives will get ruined, so he wants them to separate. Vidya asks him why he hadn't mentioned it the previous day itself, so he replies that after the biggest mistake he made last night, he lacked the courage to tell her. Vidya is shocked that he considers last night as a mistake! Vidya pleads with him that she will mould herself the way he wants her to but he replies that she would be killing her identity because her values could not change now. Sagar then says that after what happened between them, she could continue to live in the same house, for they would learn to accept each other, but an upset Vidya replies that she does not want last night to be a constraint for him because he, anyway, wanted to leave her. A completely shattered Vidya tells Sagar that she will be leaving home the next day itself.
