Recording a guitar amp with close and room mics

I was recording some guitar tracks today and thought I'd use a room mic for some additional ambience and width. I used two close microphones on the amp face - a Shure SM57 and an OPR Royer 121 clone, and added a third mic, an OPR U87 clone, set at about chest height six feet back from the amp, to capture a little of the room's ambience. For mixing, I blended the two close mics to taste, and panned them together slightly to the left. The room mic was fully panned to the right to create a bit of the room space to the overall sound. I also recorded a DI track in the event that I might need to do some re-amping, etc, later.
