How to exchange or pass objects from one character to another in Anime Studio or MOHO pro

I had a request from a subscriber to show how to pass or give an object from one character to another and this is what I came up with.
It uses some bone rigging as it makes it easier to connect an object to a character's hand and then it involves making a duplicate of that object and placing it within the secondary characters layer group as well. Then, it is just a matter of hiding and revealing the objects during the switch when both objects are lined up.
There was also a little hiccup on the layering position of one of the hands in the middle of the tutorial and I address that at the end of the video for those of you who are wondering.
There might be a better, simpler way of doing this but since my characters are built with multiple layers and sometimes multiple nested groups this was just the easiest way I could think of to make the transition look nice.
