The Marlin 45 Camp Carbine was made from 1985-1999. I believe it was a bit ahead of its time- people were not really into PC Carbines yet, the Beretta CX4 was one of the others available at the time which was also a weird PC Carbine.
This classic uses 1911 magazines which makes it a perfect setup for a Rifle and pistol pairing with a 1911, also makes a good pairing for a same caliber rifle and pistol pairing, and I first saw the Marlin camp rifles on Paul Harrels channel which is another reason I wanted this guy. RIP Paul
