Whisper of the Moon tells a small story set during the transformation of a world into a utopia. Even though not everything is perfect or stable yet, people have begun to pursue their dreams again. Science has become everyday life, space travel has become routine, and yet the moon is still a place that can never be fully explained. Almost as if it is preserving something.

This piece captures a moment shortly before an arrival, a world that does not yet know it is about to change. And a moon that does not only shine, but whispers. Some truths wait until we are ready.

One truth is that this piece is a homage to a great filmmaker, whose longtime companion David Koepp wrote the screenplay for the next blockbuster coming in June this year (2026). It is about someone who has walked a difficult path and, along the way, has repeatedly stood between loyalty, love, and truth. With Disclosure Day, the next masterpiece by Steven Spielberg will be released this year. Those who pay close attention may discover a few Easter eggs in this piece that specifically point to exactly that.

Whisper of the Moon erzählt eine kleine Geschichte im Wandel einer Utopie. Auch wenn noch nicht alles perfekt und stabil ist, fingen die Menschen wieder an, ihre Träume umzusetzen. Wissenschaft ist Alltag geworden, Raumfahrt Routine, und doch ist der Mond immer noch ein Ort, der sich nie ganz erklären lässt. Fast so, als würde er etwas bewahren.

Dieses Stück erzählt von einem Moment kurz vor einer Ankunft, von einer Welt, die noch nicht weiß, dass sie gleich anders sein wird. Und von einem Mond, der nicht nur leuchtet, sondern flüstert. Manche Wahrheiten warten, bis wir bereit sind.

Eine Wahrheit ist, dass dieses Stück eine Hommage an einen großartigen Filmemacher ist, dessen langjähriger Weggefährte David Koepp für den nächsten Blockbuster in diesem Jahr (2026) im Juni das Drehbuch geschrieben hat. Die Rede ist von jemandem, der einen schweren Weg gegangen ist und der auf diesem Weg immer mal wieder zwischen Loyalität, Liebe und Wahrheit stand.
