Stop flaring your elbows out during your pushups. Not only will this make the move more difficult, but it’s also dangerous for your rotator cuff and causes your shoulders to roll forward. Instead, rotate your elbows in, engage your lats, and push your shoulders away from your ears so that your elbows are tucked in roughly 45 degrees.
