This is not a beat making video but a tutorial on how to use the SP-404, or any other Roland SP series sampler (or any hardware FX unit for that matter) as an external effect in Ableton Live. I show you how to connect the SP to your audio interface and how to setup Ableton, so you can process your tracks through the SP-404 and record them back in Ableton. You will need an audio interface with at least two line inputs and at least 4 outputs, two stereo RCA to 1/4 jack cables and Ableton Live 8 or above.
