Cabinet Approves Bill: The central government has taken a major and far-reaching decision in the higher education sector. The cabinet has approved the 'Developed India Education Supervision Bill'. This decision marks a major shift in the way colleges and universities are monitored and regulated in the country. Work previously handled by different institutions will now be handled under a single higher education regulator.

Cabinet Approves Bill : केंद्र सरकार ने हायर एजुकेशन सेक्टर में एक बड़ा और दूरगामी फैसला लिया है। मंत्रिमंडल ने ‘विकसित भारत शिक्षा अधीक्षण विधेयक’ को मंजूरी दे दी है। इस फैसले के साथ ही देश में कॉलेज और यूनिवर्सिटीज की निगरानी और रेगुलेशन के तरीके में बड़ा बदलाव होने जा रहा है। अब तक जो काम अलग–अलग संस्थाएं करती थीं, वह आगे चलकर एक सिंगल हायर एजुकेशन रेगुलेटर के तहत किया जाएगा।
