+++ Laura's POV +++
Okay so it's half way through the school day, and I have walked past Noelle and Alex, who, both act as if I dont even exhist. I cant believe I wasted my friendship with them for a boy.. I know its wrong, but every time im with him.....it's as if nothing else exhists.
This was it. I'm going to go find Noelle, and talk to her. Right now.
As I said this, Joe stepped around the corner, with his beautiful brown eyes twinkling in my direction. I was completely taken over by his presence.. All my thoughts had dissappeared like clouds on a sunny day. This is crazy .
I then began to start walking towards him, and the closer I got, i could feel my smile getting bigger and bigger by the second.
Joe: Heeey babe, talk to your friends yet? Have they forgiven you?
Me: No, I havent even talked to them.. its very..hard.
Joe: You know.. I don't believe I'm worth the pain that you would have to go through of losing your best friends.. It truly isnt fair.
Me: Joe... don't you remember? Some things are worth the sacrafice.. wink
Joe: Sigh yeah..i remember - but..
I lifted my index finger to his lips.
Me: No buts. You and I together is what matters.
and with that, he took my hand, and we walked towards the stairs to have our lunch.
+++ Alex's POV +++
Damn, My first week of high school and I already have a test to study for !? crazy. At least its lunch time..As I walked down the hallway on my way to meet Noelle out in the courtyard for lunch, I walked right past Laura and her new favorite person, Joe. This was insane, her choosing him over us.. and thats when my phone began to vibrate. It was Noelle.
Me: Hullo?
Noelle: Hey, where are you !? I've been waiting for 5 minutes....I'm getting hungry !
Me: Sorry! I guess i'm too busy drowning in my own thoughts to notice the time..
Noelle: Yeah, welcome to my world.
Me: So, guess who I just passed holding hands with her boo?
Noelle: Ugh, Are you trying to make me puke? I honestly dont want to talk about her right now.
Me: Haha, I knwo the feeling. Ill talk to you in a minute, im just around the corner.
Noelle: Alright, byeeeeeeeee.
+++ Noelle's POV +++
As Alex walked around the corner to come meet me for lunch, My eyes filled with cold, wet tears right away. Why? I'm not completely sure, but I believe it has something to do with teh fact that im losing everything right now, and I'm afraid that shes the only thing I have left to hold onto...
Before she reached my side, I looked down and dried my tears, hoping she never saw it happen.
when I looked up, she was already directly infront of me, eyebrows creased. uh-oh, she saw.
Alex: Were you crying!?
Me: NO! psh, what would I have to cry about?
Alex: I dont know, but all I can guarantee you is that everything will be fine. Just relax, it'll all blow over soon enough. Laura will realize what shes lost.
I wasnt too sure if I could believe Alex's words.. Lauras never really be one to give two shits about people.
and with that, we began walking to KFC, trying to forget our previous conversation.
