Ronan Keating found Louis Walsh revelations ‘devastating’ in Boyzone doc No Matter What

In Sky's new Boyzone documentary No Matter What the band, and those who worked with them during their rise to fame, are speaking out about their experiences, both the good and the bad.

Louis Walsh, who created the band and acted as their manager, reveals in the documentary that he used to sell stories to tabloids about the group in order to keep them in the press and thus in the public eye. He admits to often making up stories, like suggesting Baby Spice and Stephen Gately were dating, to stir up interest, and if they "got the front page" then he was happy.

Ronan Keating tells Yahoo UK that it was "devastating" to learn that Walsh had engaged in such methods to promote the band: "I guess we knew to a certain extent how much Louis was connected with the press, but I don't think we realised how far, how deep.
