For the fourth instalment of my No-yuu-ace-deuce AU, this time this song is actually a sequel to 'It's a Deal'. With several Scarabia students now in Azuls clutches and Kalim still up to his usual antics. Jamil reaches his breaking point and decides to use the current situation at hand as leverage to usurp control of the dorm and possibly even...beyond.
For the chorus hook, I wanted it to be as hypnotic as jamils unique magic, while still having the slithery snake motif in there without making direct references to snake whisper itself, hence 'listen' was born.
