A Ferryland Staycation

Enjoy your 30-minute visit to Ferryland, Newfoundland & Labrador, a historic town founded in 1691 by Lord Baltimore before the cold & wind drove him to Maryland in the U.S. I chose the music "Into the Deep" by Christopher Lloyd Clarke because there were always a dozen or more humpback whales spouting in the distance (too far for my iPhone to capture). From time by the sea to a hike on the hills and a famous Lighthouse Picnic - it was all perfect! This includes my stay in the Ferryland Red House, an Airbnb featured on a Canadian stamp with a giant iceberg behind it.

This was one of my many staycations this summer during NL's Stay Home Year due to COVID-19. I'm so grateful to be living on this island.
