Vegan Chocolate Cake Recipe
Ingredients
-4 cups of white sugar
-5 cups of all-purpose white flour
-2 cups of cocoa
-2 cups of water
-2 cups of almond milk
-1 1/3 cups of vegetable oil
-2 teaspoons of salt
-1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
-1 tablespoon of baking soda
-2 tablespoons of white vinegar
-2 tablespoons of instant coffee
1) on low speed mix dry ingredients: flour, sugar,cocoa and baking soda
2) mix coffee grounds with water
3) mix white vinegar with almond milk
4) mix vanilla with vegetable oil
5) While the mixer is running on low, add the oil mixture, milk mixture, and water mixture.
6) add salt and Mix until incorporated and no lumps are found.
7) set the oven to 370 F. Fill pans and bake for 30-45 minutes.
Vegan Buttercream Frosting
Ingredients
-2 cups of powder sugar
-2 cups of vegetable shortening
-2 cups of vegan butter
-2 tablespoons of vanilla
1) Using a stand mixer and whip attachment mix vegan butter until smooth.
2) add vegetable shortening mix until smooth
3) add powder sugar and vanilla
4) mix until reaches fluffy and creamy consistency.
