This is a brand new foundation being built in climate zone 4 in Northwest Georgia in 2024. This is not a good idea or concept for new construction in this area. This video gives a brief explanation on why an un-sealed crawl space is a bad idea. This type of construction should not be used in this area unless it’s in the form of a sealed crawl space with dehumidification.
