Noli Me Tangere [Short Film] | CATMAN BSOA 2

The Social Cancer as the original name of Noli Me Tangere that was written by Dr. Jose Rizal reflect on how brutality and corruption ruled the Philippines (Filipinas) governed by Spanish (Spaniards) way back hundreds of years ago.

The aim of our film is to enlighten the filipino people about the wrong doing and claims of the Spaniards to the Indios back then.

During Spanish era, Indios are prohibited to read a book (except from the Bible who teaches what they believed on what is right) because it is a form of unlawful acts specially for the Priest. That is why we are here to introduce you our short film to express the idea and main point why Dr. Rizal wrote this novel.
