This video was made to protest the Bahamas Government's decision to seek to implement a 15% VAT, July 1st 2014 in the Bahamas. According to a study done by the IADB of the impact of VAT in the Bahamas, it will cause poverty to increase and cause people to have less disposable income. This in turn will cause businesses increase their prices and lose customers.

Consequently, businesses will have to fire staff to reduce increased expense in their operation, ultimately causing unemployment to increase. From there, the economy of the Bahamas will be in a downward spiral, uncertain when it would rebound.
