Spent the day exploring one of my favorite places in Manila — Intramuros! 🌿⛪ I made a quick stop at San Agustin Church, then went on to discover the beautiful exhibits inside the Museo de Intramuros and the Centro de Turismo. Join me as I walk through history in the walled city!

✨ Exploring Intramuros, Manila’s historic walled city! ✨

In this vlog, I take you on a cultural trip around Intramuros, starting with a quick stop at San Agustin Church — one of my favorite churches in Manila and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its centuries-old beauty and baroque architecture never fail to amaze me.

From there, I visited the Museo de Intramuros, located inside a beautifully restored building that once housed San Ignacio Church. The museum highlights the rich religious art, colonial artifacts, and ecclesiastical collections of Intramuros, showcasing how faith and history shaped Filipino culture. Some exhibits include wooden santos (saints), sacred relics, and religious paintings from the Spanish colonial era.

Next stop: the Centro de Turismo Intramuros — the city’s official tourism hub. Opened in 2003, it serves as a visitor center where you’ll find exhibits, dioramas, and galleries that tell the story of Intramuros, from its Spanish colonial beginnings to its role in World War II and post-war reconstruction. It’s the perfect starting point for anyone exploring Manila’s oldest district.
