[4K] The Shopping City of Germany - Essen City Walking in May 2020

In this Essen City tour in Western Germany, I am walking you again through the City Center of Essen during the worldwide pandemic in May 2020 and cover various sightseeing spots within the City Center. Essen, which is also called the Shopping City of Germany, is the central and second largest city of the Ruhr, the largest urban area in Germany.

On the Ruhr and Emscher rivers, Essen geographically is part of the Rhineland and the larger Rhine-Ruhr Metropolitan Region. Essen is decidedly gaining ground in importance and denotation as an attractive city. More than 700 retail shops and boutiques are the reason why Essen’s downtown area has been such an attractive shopping place of long standing, and its cultural centers of attraction are quite convincing. It is also often considered as the energy capital of Germany with E.ON and RWE, Germany's largest energy providers, both headquartered in the city. I am starting this walk in the train just before my arrival in Essen then walking towards the city center and showing you various sights.
