In this video, I take the Minolta SR-T101 out for a rainy day shoot and talk about why this fully mechanical camera is perfect for wet conditions. With no electronics to worry about, it’s a solid choice when you don’t want to risk your digital or modern film gear.
I walk you through my setup, including the external Doomo light meter I use, and share some thoughts on shooting with a 28mm lens—a bit outside my usual comfort zone of 35mm and 50mm. Plus, you’ll hear about the experience of slowing down with a manual camera and how that affects the way I shoot.
