"Ми йдем вперед" - Ukrainian Galician Army Song

On October 19, 1918, the creation of the Ukrainian state in the ethnic Ukrainian lands of Austria-Hungary was announced.

As a result of the war between Poland and the Western Ukrainian People's Republic, the Galician army depleted its stocks of weapons and equipment, and was squeezed in the very east of the region by a hair's breadth from complete defeat.
But due to the political situation in Poland, the command removed part of the forces from this direction, underestimating the capabilities of the Galician Army.
This was used to launch a decisive counter-offensive called the "Chortkiv offensive", the Galician Army broke through the Polish ranks and captured a lot of equipment.
"Chortkiv Offensive" has become a phrase meaning decisive action at the moment of the greatest despair.
