This aired during a rerun of The Phil Donahue Show on channel 4 WNBC on December 26th, 1980. These were always kind of unsettling to me when I was young. I don't know how often stations were required to air them but in my memory it happened a lot. It seems like now it's kind of largely forgotten thing. Do they still happen on over the air TV today?
