There have been news stories about the Mumbai Goa Highway NH66 getting completed in June 2025 and that travelers will be able to carry out the journey between Mumbai and Goa in 6 hours. This sounded funny to us, laughable even. We had to go to Goa for a meet with old friends so we decided to figure how quickly one could traverse the distance given a powerful enough car and a good driver. We had a Polo GT TDI with us with stage 1 Code 6 remap dishing out 130hp and 300 nm with a 0-100 time of 8.5 seconds and a top speed of 200 km/h. The suspension of the car has also been upgraded to a B4 Bilstein. Were we able to finish the journey in 6 hours? watch the video to find out!
