This is a recording of our first Advent Sunday service held at Yester Church. Thank you very much everyone who is contributing to the service. We have readings from Isaiah ch 2 vs 1-5 and Matthew’s gospel ch 3 vs 1-12. Our hymns are (using Church Hymnary, fourth edition. Canterbury Press 2005):
273 O come, O come, Emmanuel
284 Hope is a candle vs 1
715 Behold the mountain of the Lord
281 People, look East. The time is near
274 Comfort, comfort now my people
472 Come, thou long-expected Jesus.
