Hydrate or Die. Camelbak M.U.L.E Mil Spec Crux Review. The ultimate Military Hydration Pack in 2025?

A quick review of the Camelbak MULE Mil-Spec Crux. The colour shown is "Coyote" which is the khaki variant. It's also available in black and multicam.

For this review I took it on a hike to put the reservoir and hose through its paces. I also cover a few downsides or cons to this pack the average user might encounter.

The pack is Military grade and offers 3L of water/hydration along with 8L of cargo. The reservoir provides 25% more water per sip, a big improvement over the standard retail Camelbak range.

The dry weight is 900 grams and is constructed from 500D Double-Rip Cordura, with integrated MOLLE webbing on the outside.
