This product, a split ring bearing, is primarily utilized in automotive transmissions. The system's goal was to automate the process of receiving these rings in bulk and efficiently loading them onto a mandrel. Following this, the rings were wrapped in shrink film, and the film was subsequently shrunk to secure the rings. This system was designed to handle this operation at a speed of 25 rings per minute.
