I'm currently working on a new album.
After mixing and cutting the results of the horn section recordings, a few takes and snippets that had ended up on the cutting room floor were to good to be thrown away. So I decided to try and recycle them for this little song of mine.
The original version was meant as an hommage to early Memphis Blues, and doesn't feature any horns.

I re-recorded the whole thing and then added the horns, mixing them in as organically as I could, which was quite a challenge, because they had originally been recorded for a different song - in a different tempo and in totally different order.
