Wing Foil Tips: Repairing tear in wing canopy using sail repair tape

In this video Robert Stehlik and Dan Regan demonstrate how to repair a hole in the wing using sail repair tape.

Unfortunately, tears in the wing canopy is a very common accident. Tears are most commonly caused by the foil hitting the canopy in a wipeout. Here are the repair steps:
1) make sure wing is clean and dry.
2) place on a clean, flat surface and make sure tear is smoothed out and trim any loose threads.
3) cut piece of repair tape, cut rounded edges.
4) apply tape making sure the wing canopy is flat and there are no wrinkles.
5) turn wing over, repeat steps on opposite side
6) get back on the water and enjoy!
