Farnham (Surrey)- Van Life UK

Today I'm in Farnham in Surrey which is around 36 miles south west of London. I was really impressed with all the old buildings, a very good selection of independent shops and Farnham Castle which was FREE.
Parking wasn't but there was ample parking next to the Waitrose supermarket. Pay and Display but at a reasonable cost.
I would have had a drive around looking for free parking but the roads get busy up here. You can tell you are closer to London !
I had a wander round and after admiring the old buildings I headed up to Farnham Castle, ice cream in hand !
I was impressed that this was free although in fairness there isn't much of the old castle left. It looked like there was a visitor centre which was probably very interesting but I got there a little late in the day and it was almost closing time.
Farnham is not a cheap place to live, as I could see from the estate agents window. It is however, very nice and free for the likes of me, staying in a van !
In future videos I will show more of where I park up to cook and sleep.
