This is an excerpt from a longer video on the process of converting this tenor banjo to a 5-string banjo. I thought this excerpt may be of special interest as a stand alone video, because of the skin vs plastic head sound comparison.
Three tunes, each played in a different style on the same banjo. Each tune played twice--first with a thin goatskin head, then with a Remo Renaissance head. Both heads tensioned to 90 on a Drum Dial.
