Kalat Operation BLA killed 25 Pakistan Army BLA Strongly Rejected ISPR Claim of Fighters Martyred

In Kalat Operation—— Held Control of the city for 9 Hours, Eliminated 25 Enemy Personnel Without Losses – ISPR’s Statement is a Fabrication

We pay tribute to Senior Commander Shaheed Majeed Baloch, Commander Shaheed Diljan Baloch, and Sarmachar Shaheed Zakir Jan, who were martyred in a clash in Panjgur on December 14, 2024.

Baloch Liberation Army (BLA)

On January 31 at 8 PM, over 100 BLA fighters launched a guerrilla operation in different areas of Kalat. This operation was conducted under BLA’s “Stay, Hit and Run” guerrilla strategy, aimed at breaking the enemy’s control, temporarily seizing areas and enemy camps, inflicting heavy casualties and psychological defeat, and then retreating with minimal or no losses. The operation continued until 4:30 AM, during which BLA successfully achieved all objectives and withdrew without any casualties. As a result of coordinated attacks in Manguchar, Khazeena, Johan, Shekhari, and Kuhak, at least 25 enemy personnel were killed, several wounded, and multiple installations destroyed.

BLA took full control of Manguchar, including Manguchar Bazaar, all entry and exit routes, and parts of the Manguchar military camp. Five enemy personnel were killed and two armored tanks destroyed in fierce clashes inside the camp. BLA continuously and heavily targeted the military base from four directions until dawn.

Meanwhile, major roads, including Manguchar Bazaar, remained under BLA’s control throughout the night. During this period, our fighters destroyed and set fire to a bank using explosive devices.

BLA also maintained checkpoints and roadblocks across Kalat’s key highways, including transit and entry-exit routes, until morning. Various BLA units were deployed at Johan Road, Kuhak Cross, Shekhari, Manguchar-Khadkocha Road, and Khazeena Soro.

At Khazeena Soro, a van carrying 18 Frontier Corps (FC) personnel arrived at a BLA checkpoint. Some armed FC personnel inside the van opened fire on our fighters, leading to a retaliatory attack that killed all 18 FC personnel. BLA then seized their weapons.

Near the Manguchar camp, BLA fighters stopped a passenger bus at another checkpoint and detained two suspicious individuals. Upon verification, one was identified as an active-duty Pakistani military officer and the other as an intelligence operative. Both were executed on the spot.

In Khazeena, BLA also seized control of a Levies checkpoint without resistance. Out of respect for their Baloch identity and livelihood concerns, Levies personnel were spared, warned, and provided safe passage.

A few hours after the operation, gunship helicopters arrived to provide air support to Pakistani forces, while fresh reinforcements from Kalat and other regions attempted to surround Manguchar. The enemy deployed armored vehicles, drones, and advanced equipment, but despite this, BLA fighters inflicted heavy losses and successfully completed their mission. After achieving all operational goals, all fighters of BLA broke through the enemy’s siege and withdrew without any casualties.

As a result of the operation, BLA seized a large cache of weapons from the Manguchar military camp and checkpoints.

BLA considers the Kalat operation a successful military strategy with significant strategic gains. Most importantly, despite the harsh realities of war, BLA fighters ensured no harm came to civilians or their properties, even at personal risk. Not only did BLA protect civilians, but its tactical maneuvers also prevented the enemy from using civilians as human shields.

BLA prioritizes the safety of innocent civilians, including Baloch, Pashtuns, and other oppressed groups.

Furthermore, BLA strongly rejects ISPR’s fabricated claims. No BLA fighter was martyred in this operation. Unlike the Pakistani military, BLA proudly announces the names of its martyrs rather than concealing them out of shame.
